another template: another trip to Ginter Gardens

I seem to be attracted to layout templates lately.  Maybe because they speed up the scrapping process.  I won’t always use them because I feel like they are kind of cheating, but right now I’ve got a lot of things on my To Do list.

This template is by Marni Designs, for the challenge over at Brownie Scraps, and I used elements from various kits by Jacabean, who is going out of business and having a great retirement sale.

I took the photo yesterday at Ginter Gardens.  Ian surprised me by not diving right into the splash pad with the girls when we arrived in the late afternoon 98 degree weather.  He wanted to wander around a bit first and I followed him up to the tree house a couple of times.  It does have a beautiful view and was a little cooler, but the hike up was hot and tiring.  Ian’s cheeks got red!  Rhiannon finally encouraged him to join the splashy wet fun by teasing him to catch her.
