Happy Mothers Day week!

So many people are sharing photos of their mothers on Facebook.  I love seeing the old photos.  Here’s one from the mid-7o’s.  From left to right you see my sister, me, my grandma, my great-grandma, and my mom.  I think this was a Mothers Day luncheon.

My great grandmother lived until 4 months before her 100th birthday.  I aspire to follow in her footsteps.  My grandma left us two years ago.  I wish I had talked to her more about life before I was born.  I treasure chatting with my mom, who lives on the opposite coast from me, nearly every day via IM.
