“No Leftovers” Chili

from a Bush’s Beans magazine advertisement, I’ve made this countless times, including for FAHA Family Day last February

2 16 oz cans kidney beans

2 16 oz cans pinto beans

2 16 oz cans black beans

2 lbs ground beef

1 small chopped onion

1 small chopped bell pepper

1 14 oz can diced tomatoes

1 6 oz can tomato paste

3 tsp chili powder

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp ground pepper

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Sour cream for garnish

In large pot, combine beef, onion, green pepper and chili powder.  Cook until meat is browned; drain if necessary.  Stir in remaining ingredients, except sour cream.  Simmer on low 20 minutes.  Serves 8-10 with absolutely positively no leftovers.  (Says the ad!)

I have found this freezes well too.
